MARMIL S.A. at MARMO+MAC 2019, ITALY
MARMIL S.A. attended as an exhibitor one more time the MARMO+MAC International fair, the most important global reference event for natural stones, design and technology worldwide.
The fair was held from 25 to 28 September 2019 in Verona, Italy.
Our participation in the fair was very successful, being a significant step towards the expansion of our export activity and the emergence of Greek marbles in the global market.
Next MARMO+MAC fair, will be held from 30 September to 03 October 2020 and MARMIL S.A. will be there.
Partnership Agreement (PA) 2014-2020: Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (EPAnEK)
Our company has joined the Operational Program “Partnership Agreement (PA) 2014-2020: Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (EPAnEK)” with the aim of upgrading and improving our competitive position in the domestic and export market, investing in upgrading our productive equipment. The program is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national resources.
Our goal is to upgrade the mechanical equipment of our company, in production machinery and means of transport, with the aim of improving the quality of the products produced but also increasing the productivity and safety during the production process according to the needs imposed by the modern requirements of the market.
The expected results of upgrading and expanding our mechanical equipment is a significant increase in productivity both in the production process and in the internal movement of our goods during production, storage, loading and unloading stages, in conjunction with quality improvement of our products. All the above are necessary steps that will lead to the significant development of our company, to its further consolidation in the domestic and export market and to the harmonization of the production process with the modern trends and requirements.
MARMIL supports “DIAS” Hellenic Police unit
Earlier this year, we received a sponsorship request from “DIAS” Hellenic Police unit of Heraklion Crete. MARMIL, driven by its sense of social responsibility and sensitivity, responded immediately to the need of “DIAS” team and sponsored the special motorcyclist’s equipment required, as a minimum recognition of the significant and difficult work the team performs in our town daily.
“DIAS” team organized a special event, that was held in a well-known restaurant in the city of Heraklion, on May 13th 2019, in order to thank our company. MARMIL has been awarded an honorary plaque for the supporting, which was received by the CEO of the company, Mr. Manos Vitsaras.
MARMIL hopes to have significantly contributed and facilitated the truly demanding work of “DIAS” team.
It should also be noted that, throughout the years, MARMIL has been supporting the work of associations, financially or by donating equipment, and will continue to invest in activities that support the society and the local communities.
MARMIL S.A. at MARMO+MAC 2018, ITALY
MARMIL S.A. attended for the first time as an exhibitor MARMO+MAC International fair, the most important global reference event for natural stones, design and technology worldwide.
The fair was held from 26 to 29 September 2018 in Verona, Italy and was attended by more than 68,000 visitors from all over the world.
At our Booth, visitors were able to take a detailed look at our Greek marbles white collection as well as at the ascending colorful Cretan marbles, from our privately-owned quarry and from quarries with which we maintain stable cooperation agreements.
Our participation in the fair was very successful, being a significant step towards the expansion of our export activity and the emergence of Greek marbles in the global market.
Next MARMO+MAC fair, will be held from 25 to 28 September 2019, in Verona, Italy and MARMIL S.A. will be there.
MARMIL supports “DIAS” Hellenic Police unit
As part of corporate social responsibility initiatives, MARMIL donated sportswear (uniforms) to “DIAS” Hellenic Police unit of Heraklion Crete, for the Football Championship 2018.
“DIAS” team expressed its gratitude for the donation to the CEO of the company, Mr. Manos Vitsaras, who handed the uniforms to the football team members.
It is important to point out that, MARMIL has been supporting the work of associations, financially or by donating equipment, and will continue to invest in activities that support culture, sports and society.
