Founded by Ioannis Vitsaras.

Conversion of the company in Limited Liability Company (LLC) under the name of "LEFKA MARMARA L.L.C."

1992
Company participates for the first time in large projects such as Elounda Beach Hotel in Elounda Crete, Kalimera Kriti Hotel in Sissi Crete, Kernos Beach Hotel in Malia Crete, Robinson Club Lyttos Beach Hotel in Anissaras Crete. These projects contributed significantly to the development of the company.

The company sets up the factory, for the first time in a proprietary area, in the Industrial Area of ​​Heraklion.

The company participates as a founding member of the Pan-Cretan Cooperative Bank.

Conversion of the company in Share Company (S.A.) under the name of "LEFKA MARMARA S.A."

Creation of a cutting unit of raw marble blocks, with the setting up of a gang-saw and polishing machines for the production of slabs.

The company bought a marble quarry in the prefecture of Rethymno.

First exports to Europe.

Cooperation agreement with the Spanish Industry, COMPAC S.A., which produces artificial quartz surfaces and artificial marbles, for the commercial representation of its products in Crete and southern Greece.

Renaming the company to "MARMIL S.A." and replacement of the old logo with the new one.
